Orchids are considered an exquisite flower and is also the national flower of Singapore. This interest in farming orchids started
by Allan’s mother, Nancy

Allan’s business started exporting fresh cut orchids to Australia. Over the years, Allan established a good rapport with his overseas clients through his hard work and networking skills. This is evident till today and he attributes this as his key success factor.

Allan and his family moved to Victoria, Australia to further develop the business. That same year, The Orchid Man was acquired. We started with a minimum operational size of four staff and operated in Geelong, and then Hoppers Crossing.

As we grew, the operations was relocated to the current warehouse and office at Graham Court, Hoppers Crossing in 2008.

In 2010 Allan acquired Warrnambool orchids, this was our first venture into growing phalenopsis orchids in Australia.

The Year 2012 and 2015 registered another significant milestone for the company with the opening of farms in Werribee South and the latest at Little River to meet the increasing demands. In 2014 we acquired another warehouse next door to fulfil the expanding demands of the business.
